Married at First Sight star Amy Kenyon has been called "deluded" after attempting to sell her wedding dress for an extravagant price on Facebook.

Amy married prison education manager Luke Debono on the show, but the couple had multiple fallouts. Now, Amy has listed her wedding dress on Facebook Marketplace for £1500, despite its original price of £2800, and has faced backlash.

In the post, she described it as a "Monreal Bridal wedding dress with floral sleeves. Altered to fit a size 8 featuring corset bodice. RRP £2800. As seen on MAFS." Fans quickly took to the comments to voice their outrage over the price.

One user wrote: “I think it is a beautiful dress, but are these people deluded to think they can sell it second hand, with personalised alterations, by just knocking off a couple of hundred quid? It retails new at £1,900. Hardly a discount.”

Whilst another added: “Don't think anyone would want to pay that level of money to wear a dress from a very public failed relationship really.” A third penned: “The amount people think a second hand wedding dress is worth.... Altered to specifically fit another person and all..." And a fourth wrote: “I don’t know if I want to terrorise the wedding guests’ eyes with a 'done, dead, deceased' branded dress. That dress didn’t bring previous bride a happy marriage.”

Amy recently criticised the show's producers for the way she was edited, following a cooking class date where she walked out after Luke made an immature comment. According to the bride, the edit wasn't a realistic portrayal of their date, and she took to Instagram in a lengthy post to "defend" herself and explain what really happened when the cameras weren't rolling.

Admitting that the date was "one of the best days of the experiment for me", she thanked the production team for pulling together a "special" day before addressing the moment she was seen storming off after her beau made a joke. "I walk off set at one point due to something which was again brought up that we weren't allowed to discuss on camera and therefore unable to be aired," she told fans, further explaining she was "sick to death of being silenced" and felt it was best to "remove" herself from the situation.

"The scene has been portrayed in a way that did not happen due to the narrative being warped by this same topic which was constantly being brought up," she wrote. "Due to this being brought up, I had to again humiliate myself apologising for "overreacting" to make the scene make sense."

The wedding planner continued to share her side of the story, telling fans that she "shouldn't have to feel the need to defend myself" since the people who were on set knew what happened. However, she said she is "bored of nasty people" sharing their views on her behaviour.

"I do admit it's out of character for me however, I will never apologise for my behaviour as it takes a lot to push me over the edge. Remember for every reaction, there was an action," she said concluding the post.

Amy and Luke are no longer together after a rollercoaster of ups and downs, culminating in Amy ending things at the final vow ceremony.
