Eagles Reveal Final Playing Status For QB Jalen Hurts in Week 17

It looks as though Philadelphia's leap to clinch the NFC East will be in the hands of backup quarterback Kenny Pickett for another game.

Jalen Hurts is officially ruled out for Week 17 due to a concussion, according to ESPN NFL insider Adam Schefter.

"Now official: Eagles ruled out QB Jalen Hurts for Sunday's game vs. Dallas due to his concussion. Eagles QB Kenny Pickett now will replace Hurts," Schefter said on X.

The news doesn't come as a major surprise. Pickett was reported to be trending towards starting against the Cowboys on Thursday through early Friday as Hurts was a non-participant in practice.
