Eamonn Holmes is said to be having second thoughts about how his marriage ended amid his recent health woes.

Sources claim that pals shared fears that the GB News presenter is "not in a great place" with his recent health woes as Ruth Langsford moves on.

Last week, the Loose Women presenter, 64, let her hair down as she partied with her showbiz pals, including Rylan Clark and Lizzie Cundy.

According to reports, her former husband harbours some regrets over their split.

"Eamonn is not in a great place with his health," a source told Bella magazine with pals speculating about his decision to part ways with Ruth.

They added, "He'll never ever admit it but he left his lovely house and lovely life and now, underneath it all he's probably thinking, 'what the hell have I done?'"

Ruth and Eamonn shocked fans when they announced their separation in May last year after 28 years together and 14 years married.

Following their split, the broadcaster later embarked on a new romance with 43-year-old marriage counsellor Katie Alexander.

Meanwhile, Eamonn has battled several health issues in recent years, including chronic pain, back surgery, and hip replacements.

In 2021, Eamonn slipped three discs in his back, causing him to lose mobility, and the following year, he underwent spinal surgery for the slipped discs.

The veteran broadcaster fell down the stairs two weeks later, which he said "smashed" his shoulder.
