One of Ed Sheeran's cousins has sensationally attacked the singing sensation and revealed details of a bitter family feud.
Jethro Sheeran, Ed's paternal cousin has revealed that he and The Shape Of You were once very close - even making music together at one point - but thanks to a battle over an unreleased song, Jethro doesn't see himself ever taking to his superstar relative ever again.
Ed, 33, would spend his school holidays creating tracks with Jethro, 42, before rising to global stardom. According to Jethro, he played a key role in helping his younger cousin develop his musical talents as he began his career as a singer-songwriter. But their close bond is now well and truly shattered.
Jethro, who currently lives with his mother, reveals how a bitter row has broken out between himself and his multi-millionaire cousin as he aims to break into the music industry himself. He claims Warner Music lawyers recently ordered him to stop using Ed's name commercially.

alonestarsheeran/Instagram)"I don't consider Ed to be family to me any more," Jethro says in an interview discussing his belief his cousin is behind the record label's attempt to take him to court. He adds how their relationship has "broken down over music" and the pair are no longer on speaking terms.
"He needs to apologise to me first but I don't think he ever will," he tells the MailOnline. "I was ordered to drop his name and image from our joint music which he had been using and I want to [use]. He has made millions but I feel I was due some recompense and recognition through a verbal agreement we both had of three songs I had written and produced, and gave to him to take to his fan base.
"And I wanted to use them too but have been legally stopped from using his name or face. How ridiculous is that? Why wouldn't he want to help and be kind to a family member who is an aspiring musician?'
Jethro claims the feud was ignited over a track named "Raise Em Up" which Jethro and Ed recorded together in 2010, and was also featured in the 2013 film All Stars. Jethro had created a remixed version that co-credited Ed and included his image in the artwork. He hoped that re-releasing the song would help raise funds to support his daughter, Skyla Rain Sheeran, an aspiring singer, to kick-start her music career.
However, lawyers from Ed's record label, Warner Music, quickly contacted Jethro, threatening legal action unless he removed references to Ed on the track. The dispute escalated in September when Warner discovered Jethro's plans for the remix of the track they had initially recorded together 14 years prior. Jethro then accused his cousin of personally instructing Warner Music to threaten him with legal action - a threat he says he has no option but to comply with as he lacks the funds for a legal defence.
Jethro, whose father is the brother of Ed's dad, says he is "very disappointed and saddened" but wishes Ed the best of luck. He claims that while he isn't a multi-millionaire like his cousin, he is doing fine financially. "He wants fame, money and success at all costs," Jethro adds, before joking referring to his cousin as "the devil".
