Elizabeth Hurley Knows How To Heat up the Holidays in a Glamorous Black Gown

Elizabeth Hurley is ringing in the holiday season in a very glamorous way. The 59-year-old actress was supporting a charity event, but it’s her sheer black gown that has everyone talking on Instagram.

The Temperley London dress had a plunging neckline that showed off her gorgeous curves. Hurley accessorized the look with a soft hairstyle of gentle waves that framed her face and a pop of pink on her lips. The chic ensemble looked stunning from the front, but it was the back of the gown that took her outfit to the next level. It had a corset-style bodice that laced up, showing off a dramatic back view, all while melting the internet.

The Royals star has focused on her health and wellness routine for years now, and that means a clean diet of whole foods. “I’ve always watched what I eat, since forever. I’ve never wanted to eat processed food. Right back to my teens, I’ve always looked at the labels on food,” she shared with The Sydney Morning Herald in June. It’s likely why she loves gardening at her Cotswolds-area estate where she now counts Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi as her new neighbors.

Hurley has found that the hours she spent weeding and tending to her garden is the best form of exercise because it doesn’t feel like a workout. “I’d much rather be gardening than doing anything else,” she told Hello! In 2020. “I’ve been outside doing things for at least five hours a day. My brother bought me a set of what he calls ‘lady tools,’ which are lightweight. I have my own shed with all my tools in it, and woe betide anyone else who uses them.”

The Strictly Confidential star, who is quite the fashionista with her Elizabeth Hurley Beach line, also wants to tackle ageism in fashion because she doesn’t love it when society tries to dictate what women wear. “It’s completely absurd if people think they can’t put a bikini on and enjoy being on the beach because people might think their body looks too old,” Hurley told SheKnows in 2022. “I mean, that’s just obscene. It’s a terrible point of view.” She believes “women should do whatever the hell they want to do” when it comes to fashion “and damn anybody criticizing them.”
