Elon Musk had some strong words for Jennifer Lopez on the November 4 episode of The Joe Rogan Experience podcast.

The SpaceX CEO, 53, called out the This Is Me... Now star, 55, seemingly suggesting she knew about ex Sean "Diddy" Combs' sex crimes. The criticism came after Musk and Rogan, 57, discussed Lopez' endorsement of Kamala Harris for president.

"JLo was like his ex-girlfriend, and it's like now deciding she's like warning people against [Donald] Trump," Musk — who is a fervent Trump supporter — said, adding, "How many people did she warn against Diddy, right? Oh, zero, okay." The Tesla CEO continued, "Maybe we shouldn't trust her opinion." The JLo Beauty founder dated Diddy from 1999 to 2001, and Musk seemed to think that relationship discredited her political endorsement.

"People in the music entertainment industry had to know that Diddy was like abusing, you know, kids basically, and yet they still fed him kids. Like, where's the accountability? They had to know," Musk said.

Meanwhile, Lopez has not been named in any of the lawsuits against Combs, who was arrested and charged on September 16 in a three-count indictment with racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking, and transportation to engage in prostitution.

Combs has pleaded not guilty to the federal charges against him. It is as yet unclear if Lopez was aware of what was going on — though new lawsuits have mentioned a number of other celebrities along with the Bad Boy Records founder.

A new book — from Ryan Mac and Kate Conger, published on September 17 —alleges that Musk used to brag behind closed doors about being good friends with Diddy. "I don't know if you know this, but Puff is an investor in Twitter... You know, he's a good friend of mine.. We text a lot," the book claims Musk told Revolt CEO Detavio Samuels.

In a post shared on X (formerly Twitter) on October 1, Musk wrote, "How many people in music & entertainment knew about this?" along with a screenshot of a Daily Mail article detailing allegations that Diddy drugged and abused a 9-year-old boy.

Aubrey O'Day, a Danity Kane alum who was previously signed to Diddy's record label, responded to Musk's post, writing, "..ask your friends, they will tell you." The singer seemingly suggested that Musk was friendly with people involved in the music mogal's crimes.

O'Day has been known for calling Combs out over the years, and seemingly celebrated when the rapper's Los Angeles and Miami homes were raided in March 2024. She posted a TMZ story about the raid to her Instagram Stories, adding the comment, "what you sow, you shall reap. I pray this emboldens all of US victims to finally speak on what we have endured."

On October 1, attorney Tony Buzbee revealed during a press conference that he was representing 120 more people who have come forward to accuse Diddy of sex crimes dating back to 1991. "Our youngest victim is 9 years old. We have an individual who is 14 years old. We have one who is 15," Buzbee said during the press conference.

Combs' lawyers have denied such allegations, releasing the following statement: "We live in a world where anyone can file a lawsuit for any reason and without any proof. Fortunately, a fair and impartial judicial process exists to find the truth and Mr. Combs is confident he will prevail against these and other baseless claims in court."

Diddy is currently being held at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn — after multiple bail denials — while he awaits his sex crimes trial, which has been set for May 5, 2025.

Newsweek has reached out to Jennifer Lopez's reps for comment but did not immediately hear back.
