Elton John is not going through a good time in terms of health. He has had too many ailments in recent times that are undermining him in his day-to-day life. On this occasion, the artist himself has revealed a new setback. An eye ailment that has prevented him from continuing with his professional chores and therefore they have been postponed.
The British singer revealed it in an interview with the US television programme Good Morning America. He spoke specifically about the loss of vision in his right eye, which had caused him to halt the release of his new album.
Elton John has not been able to finish the album yet as a result of an infection he had in July from which he is still recovering. And he detailed that he has not had vision in his right eye for four months and his vision in the left eye "is not the best".
To all this, he explained: "I can do things like this interview but go to the studio and record, I don't know, because I can't even read a sentence to begin with. It's unfortunate that something like this happens and it sunk me. I can't see anything, I can't read anything."
This has caused him to be focused on undergoing treatment to try to solve his problem and regain his sight, which is why he has postponed other activities such as the new album. "There is hope and encouragement that I will be fine," he revealed.
