Jane Cox was the heart of the Dingle family for 24 years until her tragic ending on Emmerdale.
The actress played Lisa Dingle between 1996 and 2000, with her character diagnosed with a terminal heart condition called amyloidosis at the end of her life.
Since leaving the popular soap, she has switched up career paths and has spent time as a student again.

Jane’s final scenes were aired in 2019, however, she briefly reprised the role between October and November 2020 as part of a mental health storyline for her daughter Belle Dingle.
Her final return was in February 2024 when her voice appeared while Belle was reading a letter Lisa left for her to read ahead of her wedding.
The actress has kept pretty quiet since leaving the programme. She did share that she took up reflexology, which is an alternative medical practice involving the application of pressure to specific points on the feet, ears, and hands.
Entering a new chapter of her life, Inside Soap shared the news that she was pursuing reflexology studies. She said: "Well, I wanted to slow down a bit, and I'm currently doing a course in reflexology."
However, acting isn’t completely off the table for her as she keeps her options open for other roles - but she did rule out any appearances on reality TV.
“I'm available for acting roles, but at the moment I'm just chilling which is a luxury for me,” Jane said.
Opening up about why she made the decision to leave Emmerdale after two decades, she told The Mirror: “I know if I hadn't have left now I never would. Life is such an exciting thing, you never know what is around the corner.
“It was a big decision but I know it is the right thing. It is completely life-changing. But I decided I wanted to do different things.”
A sad loss in her life also changed her perspective. She shared: “My mum died a couple of years ago, so it does make you think a lot about the big things in life. As you get older life feels shorter although of course I am going to live to 150!”
