Everyone's mad at Ubah Hassan for complaining about her small room - but she does have a point

After discovering her room on a cast trip, RHONY’s Ubah Hassan threw a fit. Knowing she can damn well afford a much bigger space at the hotel down the road, she’s absolutely not having it.

The Real Housewives of New York City left the hustle and bustle of their usual location to find peace and tranquillity on a girls’ holiday, but Ubah Hassan soon brought The Big Apple-esque drama with her.

Ubah is so frustrating to watch. She has the emotional maturity of a child. How are you going to complain about the room after saying you don’t care where you sleep? 🙄 #RHONY pic.twitter.com/HoLEtAENWN

Ubah Hassan throws tantrum over her room

Ubah Hassan was not happy with her room on the Puerto Rico trip. She took one look at it and said, “It’s tiny, scary and the Feng Shui is very awful. I wouldn’t even put bananas in there.”

She immediately starts asking how far the hotel is from the villa, which is a 10-15 minute walk away. Despite claiming she wants to spend time with her co-stars, she announces she’s going to go.

“I don’t want to stay in that tiny room alone. There’s no way I’m staying in that, I have too much money to stay here,” she said, after Brynn Whitfield “saw a better room and took it from her.”

It was a bit strange, because just minutes before, Ubah had claimed she “doesn’t care” about Brynn taking her room because she’s “just happy to be here with you guys.”

The thing is, she’s super tall

Ubah is a 5ft 11in model, so it’s pretty likely her legs would be hanging off the small-ish double bed. So while it may have been a tantrum, she CAN afford a much bigger bed to accommodate her height.

Her modelling gigs earn her $1.5 million to $2 million in net worth in 2024, and although she only joined the RHONY cast from season 14 onwards, has her own vegan hot sauce brand.

Ok, so it absolutely was not alright that Ubah called Brynn a “snake” for taking her assigned room, before saying, “It’s okay, I have more money than her so I’ll get a room at the St. Regis.”

Racquel Chevremont, who organized the supposedly relaxing cast trip, then says in a confessional, “Honey, don’t tell me this room is too small. I’ve seen your apartment.”
