Faith Stowers requested the court to move her case against the executives of Vanderpump Rules forward publicly despite NBC, Bravo, and Evolution Media’s efforts to proceed out of the public eye.
The legal deets:
The 35-year-old former SURver asked the court “to deny” the network’s recent request. In Touch Weekly obtained court docs revealing Bravo and the VPR producers argued Faith’s discrimination lawsuit should be heard in arbitration.
Faith, who appeared on seasons 4, 5, and 6 of Bravo TV’s reality show, said the agreements she signed are “invalid and unenforceable.” Therefore, she asked the court to allow her lawsuit to move forward publicly in Los Angeles Superior Court.
LVP:
Faith claimed she experienced discrimination while filming Vanderpump Rules. In her lawsuit, Faith said she was asked to join the show by Lisa Vanderpump when she was working as a server at Lisa’s now-closed restaurant, Pump.
Court documents exposed Lisa for telling Faith the case needed “color.” Her lawyers said Faith was “subjected to racism, sexual harassment, and physical assault in her first season.”
Lala:
Faith accused producers of silencing her about the alleged incident involving a former co-star who has been rumored to be Lala Kent.
“I was also attacked by a cast member brandishing a knife to my neck while threatening to ‘cut a bitch.’ I was terrified that I would be stabbed, sliced, or disfigured.” Faith “was left deeply shaken by the incident, which was captured on camera and later covered up.”
Faith said she reported the incident to producers and NBC and “expressed her intention to involve law enforcement.” She claimed the show’s executive producer called her to discourage her from escalating the situation by speaking to the media.
Stassi and Kristen:
Never forget, Kristen Doute and Stassi Schroeder embarked on a racist social media harassment campaign against Faith.
The Valley and Vanderpump Villa stars accused Faith of having gone AWOL from the military. This was proven false, as well as claims of Faith being a thief and being a career criminal wanted by the LAPD.
Both Stassi and Kristen were fired from VPR for making multiple false claims against Faith.
