The 2025 Sundance Film Festival is highlighting Latin talent. The highly anticipated festival is giving us a preview of the upcoming movies that will be making headlines next year, with Jennifer Lopez leading the lineup in the new adaptation of the 1992 musical 'Kiss of the Spider Woman' starring Diego Luna and directed by Bill Condon. 

Latin films featured in the 2025 Sundance Film Festival lineup:

The festival will take place from January 23–February 2, 2025, in Park City and Salt Lake City, Utah, shining light on a new generation of independent films, including Latin filmmakers, artists, and storylines.

Kiss of the Spider Woman:

Valentín, a political prisoner, shares a cell with Molina, a window dresser convicted of public indecency. The two form an unlikely bond as Molina recounts the plot of a Hollywood musical starring his favorite silver screen diva, Ingrid Luna. Cast: Diego Luna, Tonatiuh, Jennifer Lopez, Bruno Bichir, Josefina Scaglione, Aline Mayagoitia.

A group of misfits converges at Babel, a legendary dive bar that doubles as purgatory, where La Flaca — the city’s Grim Reaper — presides.
