Pro football player Josh Allen and actor Hailee Steinfeld have announced they’re engaged, one week after the quarterback proposed to the movie star.
The couple shared the engagement news in a joint Instagram post on Friday, posting a photo of the two kissing under a romantic arch of roses at sunset.
Marking the occasion in a simple fashion, the post was captioned with a pair of infinity symbols and the date Nov. 22, 2024.

Not long after the announcement, a source close to the couple told People their loved ones were all celebrating the news.
“They’ve been head over heels from the start,” the insider said. “Their families are thrilled.”
The Buffalo Bill quarterback and the “Hawkeye” star were first linked in May 2023 after being spotted together following reports Allen had split with his girlfriend of eight years, Brittany Williams.

Save for the occasional public date night, the duo has kept their relationship extremely private.
Though Allen has refrained from speaking about Steinfeld with the media, he did acknowledge his dating status during an August 2023 appearance on the “Pardon My Take” podcast.
At the time, the NFL pro admitted, “The fact that anybody cares about that still blows my mind.”
