Fortnite Remix Chapter 2 finale event: Encore timings and what to expect

3 days ago 4

Fortnite Remix: The Finale is poised to premiere some fresh tracks from the current season's headliners – but fear not, if you miss the initial show, an encore is scheduled for you to join in. Fortnite is on the brink of significant transformations, and we reckon we're just about prepared for them.

This season of the game harks back to Chapter 2, injecting a dose of nostalgia, akin to Fortnite OG last year. It's also introduced new crossovers, like the arrival of the Eminem NPC, Ice Spice Shark Island takeover and a massive Juice WRLD collaboration.

However, after a brief four weeks, Epic Games is wrapping up Remix Chapter 2 with Remix: The Finale – the Fortnite live event that will conclude things before we venture into Chapter 6 this weekend. Epic has confirmed the kick-off time for the Juice WRLD concert on Saturday, November 30 which will witness the rappers who have dominated Remix Chapter 2 unite for one hell of a performance, including the debut of a new single from Snoop Dogg as well as the premiere of a never-before-heard Juice WRLD track.

In addition to the concert, players logging in this week can bag themselves a free Juice WRLD skin. And if you haven't received your Juice WRLD skin yet despite jumping through the necessary hoops, don't fret – Epic is investigating reports of missing skins from players who should have had it delivered to their lockers by now.

Players who miss the upcoming event, despite the prominent live event countdown in the lobby, are in for a treat as Fortnite is planning an encore. This means there will be at least one additional showing, assuming no technical hitches occur, reports the Mirror.

We've seen Fortnite live event encores before, particularly with in-game concerts. The Big Bang Eminem concert, for instance, had two extra shows.

Epic Games explained this was to compensate for the lengthy queue times, although they hadn't announced these additional shows beforehand. However, it's likely these were somewhat pre-planned.

Here's what we know about the start time for this season's Fortnite live event encore, which hasn't been officially confirmed yet, but we have a pretty good idea based on our research. We anticipate the Fortnite live event encore to kick off at 10pm GMT / 5pm EST / 2pm PST.

We used past in-game concerts as a reference for our prediction, specifically the additional show times from The Big Bang event. The first of the two Big Bang Fortnite live event encore shows began at 10pm GMT / 5pm EST / 2pm PST and the second started at 11pm EST / 8pm PST, translating to 4am GMT for UK players.

Considering that the Fortnite downtime for the commencement of Chapter 6 starts at 10pm EST / 7pm PST or 3am GMT, the game will be offline for the update during the time of The Big Bang's second show.

With no other information available at the moment, all indications suggest that the Fortnite live event encore will commence at the earlier of the two times. We attempted to contact Epic for specifics on when the second show might begin, but the publisher was unable to provide any details.

As it stands, we can confirm that there is at least one Fortnite live event encore show scheduled for this weekend, although the exact timing remains uncertain. If long queues reappear, we may see a third performance of the concert, but that remains to be seen.
