TV star Frankie Bridge has shown her support publicly for husband Wayne Bridge following his recent decision to pull out of a boxing match for "family reasons".
The former Manchester City footballer, 44, dramatically withdrew from his upcoming bout with KSI on Monday following the YouTuber's controversial remarks about his former girlfriend Vanessa Perroncel, with whom he shares a teenage son with.
Wayne, who appeared on I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! in 2016, was all set to enter the ring in Manchester on March 29, but he's decided to step back after KSI made jibes over the weekend concerning his ex-girlfriend's alleged affair with former England and Chelsea teammate John Terry.
Vanessa, 49, has always denied sleeping with the former England captain and hit out at KSI bringing up the old allegations that first became public in 2010. Posting on her Instagram page, the French model wrote: "The smallest minds often come with the biggest mouths."
Taking to social media on Tuesday, The Saturdays singer Frankie, 36, showed some solidarity to her partner as she revealed how she and Wayne were spending their day. "Bring your husband to hot yoga day," Frankie told her followers as she shared a snap on her Instagram Stories of herself and Wayne sat on exercise mats ready for a class.
Loose Women star Frankie, who tied the knot with Wayne in July 2014 and shares two sons with the retired sports star, also shared Wayne's statement with her 1.5million followers on Monday night, adding a love-heart emoji to her husband's original post. Wayne's statement on Monday reads: "I'm sure a lot of you have seen what happened on Saturday night at the Misfits Boxing event.

This felt like a good opportunity to go up against an interesting opponent on a big stage. I have always loved boxing as part of my everyday training routine."
The dad-of-three continued: "I was fully prepared to train hard and have some fun. Of course, I expected to face some criticism, but I feel like what was said on Saturday crossed a line. These are deeply personal comments that affect mine and other families involved in the situation. I'm a family man first and my priority is protecting them.
"My opponent is someone that many children look up to around the world, including my kids. I hope one day he will look back on this differently. I personally don't want to be involved in these exchanges. I will no longer be fighting on March 29. I'm still looking out for my next big challenge and have some exciting things coming up in 2025. Thanks for all the love. The support has been overwhelming. I want my friends and family to know how special they are. Deep down I know this is the right thing to do."
During a tense face-off with Wayne, KSI didn't hold back, asking: "Aren't you the guy that let John Terry smash your ex? " To which Bridge sharply replied, "You want to go there straightaway do you? " KSI then pressed on, stating: "I'm pretty sure that's what you're known for," before leading a chant of 'Vanessa woah, Vanessa woah'. Wayne's former partner has always refuted claims of an affair with John Terry.
