I love getting my nails done just as much as the next person, but what I don't like is spending close to £50 every two weeks in order to get a salon-worthy manicure. Maybe it's just me, but I feel like nail appointment prices are pretty expensive these days, and many of us are turning to nail polishes or at-home gel mani kits in order to save a few pennies.

Although I find it hard to justify paying for regular nail appointments, one thing I don't mind investing in is a good quality at-home polish that I know will give me those salon results time and time again. From OPI to Essie, there are so many great brands on the market and lots of shades to choose from, whether you like something bright and bold or whether you're a neutral lover through and through. When I want a stand-out shade I know I can rely on Hermès, whereas I tend to shop Chanel nail polishes around the festive season as they have so many gorgeous glittery options. However, when I want a classic, everyday colour I always head straight to Dior.
