I use my handy Drop Spreader to sprinkle the granular fertiliser over the lawn.

An autumn granular feed contains everything your lawn grass requires right now, correctly proportioned nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, iron and magnesium for an autumn application.

Gardening tips for fertilising your lawn over Autumn

A Drop Spreader will have a range of settings, with this one I tend to use setting four or five to achieve the right amount of application whilst doing a gentle walk up and down the lawn.

Once the granules have been spread over the lawn they will settle and dissolve into the ground, this is when the nutrients are released and soaked up by the grass roots.

The grass will benefit from the nutrients in a matter of days and become stronger, healthier and greener for it.
