Will Hollis has joined the long list of departures from GB News after announcing his exit on social media.

Following the likes of Mark Dolan, Isabel Webster and Alex Armstrong, the reporter took to X to reveal he would be stepping away from the programme after “three and a half years”.

Addressing his followers, the 30-year-old confirmed that: “My time at GB News is coming to an end.

“I look back at three and a half years thankful for every opportunity and challenge for helping me grow as a journalist. A special thanks to the team, contributors, and audience making it possible,” he added.

Alongside viewers, Will was inundated with messages of support from his GB News co-stars, who shared their well wishes in the comments.

Royal correspondent Cameron Walker wrote: “A pleasure, as always, Will. Good luck with your next adventure!”

Presenter Ben Leo added: “Good luck Will. But you don’t need it. You’ll be great whatever you do,” as Dawn Neesom shared: “Oh didn’t know, huge amounts of luck and love for future.”

Former GB News star Mark Dolan added: “Will you’re a STAR! Can’t wait to see what you do next! Sending you huge luck and good wishes for the future.”

One viewer remarked: “Very sad, you’re losing too many good people.”

As another penned: “Your colleagues will of course want to wish you well but myself just a viewer wish to do the same.

“It’s always been great seeing you covering stories in the Midlands and at times fronting the headlines in the studio. May you continue to thrive and succeed in your future.”

The GB News shock departures kicked off in December following the exit of Andrew Doyle who left fans devastated as he announced the end of his show, Free Speech Nation.

That same month, hosts Mark Dolan and Isabel Webster were also "relieved" of their positions. 

According to an insider via the MailOnline: “Isabel was too woke and not on message.” Meanwhile, they commented on Dolan's axe, adding: “Mark's viewing figures were not good.”

More recently, however, Alex Armstrong expressed his gratitude to fans for the "huge learning curve " he has experienced as a political commentator.
