Gemma Collins has revealed her fiancé Rami Hawash was almost taken to hospital after a sudden health scare at home.
The TV personality shared a message of thanks to the paramedics who were called out on December 28 to see to her long-term partner.
Rami, 49, proposed to Gemma, 43, earlier this year with a ‘huge’ ring when the pair were on holiday in the Maldives.
The Only Way Is Essex star is planning to tie the knot with her businessman fiancé not once, not twice, but thrice, with a whopping three wedding ceremonies.
In a shocking post, Gemma confirmed an ambulance had been called for her fiancé on Instagram by sharing a picture of him receiving medical attention.
She wrote: ‘Thank you to the amazing ambulance service who came for Rami last night, thankfully he will be ok.’
This came just hours after the TV star signed off for the year with a photo dump of them out and about, enjoying a festive walk with family.
Gemma did not reveal what had happened and has not shared any updates since confirming that Rami will be ‘ok’.
‘Merry Christmas to ALL and a HAPPY NEW YEAR 🎄❤️🎄’ she had written on her festive post, sharing snaps of herself dressed in a glam cream outfit.
In the series of snaps, Rami could be seen wrapped up warm in a padded jacket and Wellington boots.
She continued: ‘I am on holidays now but wishing you all happiness JOY and lots of trifle !!!! Before the diet starts January he he 🎄❤️🎄I will see you all at some point in JANUARY 🎄❤️🎄love GC x’
The pair first met in 2011, locking eyes in an Essex pub, but began dating two years later, only to split in 2014 and reconnect in 2020.
This year hasn’t been the easiest for Gemma as she survived a huge storm at sea in summer and an allergic reaction that landed her in hospital in October.
After being stung by a wasp in Venice, her tongue swelled and she couldn’t speak which resulted in an IV drip and a trip to hospital.
She joked there was ‘never a dull moment’ with her and thanked her fiancé for acting so quickly.
Her mum, Joan, was also taken to hospital in May as she stopped breathing amid ongoing health issues.
Gemma revealed she had ‘called an ambulance’ and was told ‘to prepare for the worst’ with the call operator asking if she would want to ‘resuscitate her.’
Last August, Joan was admitted to the hospital after a mystery illness and also has had a diagnosis of breast cancer since then.
Joan and Rami are thought to be stable at the moment, with Gemma and the family in full wedding preparation mode.
Metro has reached out to Gemma’s reps for comment.
