Jenna Dewan's fiancé Steve Kazee has hit the headlines over a post fans and critics thought was aimed at Dewan's ex-husband, Channing Tatum.

As multiple media outlets are reporting, Kazee posted a series of "hahahahaha"s on his Instagram Stories shortly after it was reported the Magic Mike star had split from his fiancée, Zoë Kravitz.

Kazee has since addressed the speculation, saying he was laughing "about a houseplant TikTok".

He then shared a picture of a dead plant and told people to "get a life".

"See? It's funny because it's relatable. Get a life," he wrote.

Dewan's rep shot down the speculation and told US Weekly: "He posted 'hahaha' right before the meme tagging Jenna. If we go to the post now it will show the meme about not watering the plants."

"You make everything fuller and infinitely funnier. I have many times wished I could give your mom (sic) the biggest and longest hug thanking her for bringing you into this world and into my life… But today I wish it the most.

Here's to all the years ahead... growing together, loving harder, and laughing louder. We love you so much and always will…!!"
