Gisele Bündchen and Joaquim Valente have reportedly confirmed that their first child is a boy, and that his middle name is River. Outlets began reporting the arrival of the new baby on Wednesday, February 5, and People claims that an inside source has revealed the name and sex of the baby. Like his 12-year-old sister Vivian Lake and 15-year-old brother Benjamin Rein, the new arrival's middle name has an aquatic theme. His first name has not yet been announced.
Meanwhile, the 44-year-old model's ex-husband, Tom Brady, with whom she shares Benjamin and Vivian, seems to be ruminating on the nature of love in the wake of his ex's big news. The 47-year-old NFL star-turned-sports-broadcaster took to Instagram on Thursday, February 6, one day after the birth was announced, to share a post that appeared to resonate with him.

"I really think the secret to being loved is to love," read the text-only post, attributed to @Larissa_Raymond. "And the secret to being interesting is to be interested." The post also gave tips on the secret to "have others find beauty in you" and "being a friend." On his Instagram Story, Brady added several heart emojis and wrote "Love this," alongside the text post.

Brady is prone to sharing his softer side on Instagram. He made headlines in October 2024 shortly after Bündchen's pregnancy was announced by sharing the lyrics to "Landslide" on his Instagram story. "Mirror in the sky, what is love?" The former quarterback asked. He apparently learned about the supermodel's pregnancy at the same time as their two kids.
Bündchen and Brady were together for 16 years and married for 13 before divorcing in 2022. Bündchen began officially dating Valente, who was originally her jiu-jitsu instructor, in early 2024.
