Golden Bachelor Gerry Turner reveals bone marrow cancer diagnosis and says ‘there’s no cure for it’

GOLDEN Bachelor Gerry Turner, who shocked America by splitting from beloved winner Theresa Nist, has tragically revealed he's fighting cancer.

Turner, 72, said he got the life-changing diagnosis just weeks before the couple got an abrupt divorce.

Turner captured America's hearts after starring in the first season of Golden Bachelor.

However, after ending the season on a high note, he shocked the public by sharing that he and Nist were getting a divorce.

Now, he's given an inside look at what informed the heartbreaking decision.

"As Theresa and I were trying very hard to find our lifestyle and where we were going to live and how we were going to make our life work, I was unfortunately diagnosed with cancer," he told People.
