Golden Globes host Nikki Glaser has come under fire after she made a joke about Sean 'P Diddy' Combs during the awards ceremony. Amid all the jokes, audiences were left stunned when the star mentioned the rapper, who is currently being housed in a New York City jail following sex trafficking charges, all of which he has denied.
During her opening set, Nikki said: "Since P Diddy has been arrested, the after party won't be as good this year...no baby oil." In this, Nikki was referencing the seizure of 1,000 bottles of lube and baby oil from Diddy's home in September, claimed by authorities to be supplies for the rapper's alleged "freak off" parties. It was at those parties where Diddy allegedly "used force, threats of force and coercion, to cause victims to engage in extended sex acts".

CBS via Getty Images)The American comedian, 40, who was the first woman to host the ceremony solo, addressed Challengers star Zendaya by saying: “Challengers girl, oh my god, it was so good. I mean, that movie was more sexually charged than Diddy’s credit card.
“I mean, seriously? Oh, no, no, I know, I’m sorry. I’m upset too. The afterparty is not going to be as good this year, but we have to move on. I know ‘Stanley Tucci Freak Off’ just doesn’t have the same ring to it.”
Viewers weren’t happy with the jokes, as they took to X, formerly known as Twitter to express their disapproval. “Diddy jokes… this is lowkey really distasteful to the victims,” wrote one viewer, while another penned: “this was the worst joke of the night!”

Zendaya attended the awards show in a burnt orange gown, although fans were more interested in what was on her finger, as she sported a large diamond ring on her left hand. The Euphoria star has been dating her Spider-Man co-star Tom Holland for the past four years, and fans think they’ve taken the next step in their relationship.
“Zendaya showing off the ring oh yeah she’s so engaged,” wrote one fan on X, formerly known as Twitter. However, another wasn’t as convinced: "Probably lent to her by a brand they strike me as a couple who would never let anyone know they were engaged let alone married.”
