Gregg Wallace apologises for his earlier post on Instagram
Gregg Wallace is facing fresh allegations of inappropriate sexual behaviour after stepping down from his judging role on BBC’s MasterChef.
One woman has come forward and accused the 60-year-old of touching her bottom at an event, as another claimed that he pressed his crotch against her while filming, the BBC reports.
Last week, Gregg stepped back from his presenting role as the broadcaster investigates the mounting allegations. His lawyers have denied that he "engages in behaviour of a sexually harassing nature".
One of the new claims allegedly occurred in 2015 while the unnamed woman was working on his show, Eat Well For Less.

“He brushed past me at the checkout, and touched my bum with his waist and penis and laughed and said ‘oooh you liked that didn’t you.’”
She continued to the BBC: “It was the way he reacted, other people would’ve said ‘oh I’m sorry can I squeeze by’ which would’ve been ok,” adding that it was the last time felt like she had to “get on” with work.
“But I wasn’t ok about it. When I finished the shoot, I felt it was slimy, disgusting. He just didn’t need to touch my body, it made me uncomfortable,” the anonymous woman added.
The woman allegedly raised the complaint to a senior colleague but nothing was done.

“In hindsight, now, I would’ve said escalated it further, as a stronger independent woman in television.
“But when you’re working your way up, your voice isn’t heard- you don’t feel like you can take on a powerful person.”
According to the BBC, the production company “Banijay say they have no record of this incident being raised at RDF Television, which produced Eat Well For Less.”
The other allegation comes from a woman who worked on MasterChef in 2015 and says she was called into his dressing room to fix his bow tie, when she noticed his trousers were “partially lowered.”
“His pubic hair was on show, where you can see the top part of his penis, and he was wearing no boxers underneath.”
She said that no apology was offered and claims that “he stared at me,” in a way that felt like “a power play,” adding: “I was shocked, I felt embarrassed by the whole thing.”
The woman said she exited the room within seconds and mentioned it to a colleague in production who escalated it but said that the production company Shine presented her with an option to take it further, but she did not.
“I didn't want to be seen to be making a fuss, especially early in my career, whereas now, I have way more boundaries of what I will or won't do.
“I was dropping the ball on my duties because I was nervous around him. Shortly after, I left. Looking back, I wish I’d said something more at the time,” she stated.
