Kirsty Wark says Gregg Wallace used 'sexualised language'
Gregg Wallace's mother Mary Pettman has spoken out after her son stepped down from MasterChef over allegations of making inappropriate comments.
It’s alleged that the presenter made “sexual comments to 13 colleagues” and mimicked a sex act in front of horrified colleagues.
It was also claimed that the 60-year-old entered the studio naked with only a sock covering his privates among other reported incidents.
The misconduct claims date back to 2005 including one from former Newsnight anchor Kirsty Wark, 69, who competed in the 2011 edition of Celebrity MasterChef.
Gregg’s mum broke her silence about the investigation and revealed that the presenter is doing “fine.”

The 81-year-old told the MailOnline: “He's fine. I speak to my son quite regularly and he is fine.”
As for the investigation and when Gregg will return to MasterChef, she added: “I have no idea what it's about. You will have to speak to him.”
On Thursday, Gregg also addressed the allegations and thanked people for their support as he stepped down after 19 years on the cooking show.
Taking to Instagram, the dad-of-two wrote: “I would like to thank all the people getting in touch, reach out and showing their support. That's good of you thank you very much.”

The flagship channel insisted that it “is committed to fully cooperating throughout the process”.
Banijay UK, which produces the hit BBC programme, said it was conducting “an immediate, external review to fully and impartially investigate.”
It said: “While this review is underway, Gregg Wallace will be stepping away from his role on MasterChef and is committed to fully cooperating throughout the process.”
Gregg's lawyers told the BBC it was entirely false that he had engaged in behaviour of a sexually harassing nature.
