James and Oliver Phelps, famed for their portrayal of Fred and George Weasley in the Harry Potter series, have teamed up with some former co-stars for a captivating new series. The competition show is a delightful blend of Bake Off and the magical film franchise, featuring a group of bakers crafting extraordinary edible masterpieces for a panel of professional judges.
The Phelps twins bring their unique charm and insider stories to the table as hosts of the show. Despite acknowledging that they will forever be associated with their Harry Potter characters, they've led active lives beyond the franchise.
Born in Birmingham, the 38 year old twins are just 13 minutes apart, with Oliver being the elder. They received tutoring on set during the filming of Harry Potter.
Despite having no prior acting experience, they decided to ditch school to attend an open audition and successfully landed the roles. Beyond acting, James has worked as a runner on the sets of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince and The Da Vinci Code.

The duo, who host a podcast together, have shared insights into their personal lives during interviews with celebrity guests.
James tied the knot with Annika Ostle in 2016, and the couple are proud pet parents to two dogs named Tonto and Jason. James's partner battles the challenging condition of endometriosis, prompting him in 2023 to take on the gruelling London Marathon to draw attention to this often-overlooked condition.
Oliver wed Katy Humpage in 2015, and the pair have been blessed with two daughters, Autumn and Emilia.
In a candid revelation about a vacation gaffe in Sydney, Australia, Oliver shared how he inadvertently 'ruined' a couple's special moment of engagement.
Amidst the New Year's Eve celebrations and watching the spectacular fireworks over Sydney Harbour, Oliver was approached by a hopeful romantic who requested he move aside.

Speaking to The Times, he recounted, "I've had a few shameful incidents on holiday too," referencing his reluctance to yield his spot saying, "A few minutes before the clock struck midnight a guy started to bug me for my space."
"Being stubborn I didn't want to give it up and miss out on a romantic moment, so I refused to budge, [but] eventually I moved to one side when the fireworks had finished and there was just a cloud of smoke left."
"The guy proceeded to get down on one knee and propose to his girlfriend, with not a firework left in sight - I felt terrible," he confessed.
In June 2022, the brothers made their way back to Australia for a Harry Potter fan extravaganza, making appearances in both Sydney and Perth.
