Former NFL wide receiver Chad 'Ocho Cinco' Johnson and his fiancée Sharelle Rosado have split less than two years after Johnson got down on one knee.
That's according to a message shared to X (formerly Twitter) by Rosado herself, who concluded her brief remarks with an eyebrow-raising sentence.

"Chad and I are no longer together please stop tagging us," Rosado, 37, wrote, before adding: "He is a free man ladies."
Rosado – who is a real estate broker known for her appearance on reality series Selling Tampa – and Johnson, 46, got engaged in early 2023.
They share a two-year-old daughter named Serenity.

Around 10 days before Rosado's short statement, she had reposted a message from Johnson promoting his appearance on the Travis Kelce-hosted Are You Smarter Than a Celebrity?
One day before her statement, Johnson revealed that while meeting David Beckham, he asked him about the secret to his happy marriage with Victoria Beckham.
"Honestly I asked about marriage & how they were able to last so long," Johnson wrote on X.
"He gave me a long speech & used the word PATIENCE many times."

When Johnson proposed to Rosado in January 2023, she told People that she was "so emotional because when we first started dating, he used to always tell me, 'I'm going to make you my wife'."
She added at the time: "Although in my heart I knew we were always meant to be, now that it's official, it's even more special than I could have ever dreamed."
Johnson, who is very active on X, has not addressed the split on social media.
