It seems that some Miami Heat fans aren't too happy with the way that star forward Jimmy Butler has handled himself of late. Following news that Butler had requested a trade to leave the Heat, a local artist reimagined a mural of the star forward.

The artist added a "trade badge" to the mural, along with an "I quit" headband. After years of Butler being the face of the Heat, it seems that the city is angry.
Butler has since been suspended for seven games, with the team citing that he did conduct detrimental to the organization. This move came after Butler said that he had "lost his joy" of basketball while playing for Miami.

Miami has since released a statement saying that they would be open to hearing offers for the six-time All-Star. However, a trade could be tricky due to his large salary and his desire for a new contract.
Much of the frustrations between the Heat and Butler has to do with him not receiving a new, lucrative contract extension. Miami has a certain way of handling things with star players and Butler feels as if he deserves a new deal.
Teams like the Golden State Warriors, Houston Rockets, Dallas Mavericks, and Phoenix Suns have been mentioned as possible landing spots for Butler. But it seems that Golden State may not even be in the running any longer.

At this point, it seems like a trade would be best for both sides unless they can come to an agreement for the remainder of the season. Butler can become a free agent at the end of the year and then he would be able to leave the Heat freely.
But Miami would likely prefer to get something for their star player if he is to leave the organization. This makes a trade even more pressing for Miami and they may have to accept a lesser deal to make sure that they aren't left with nothing.
It remains to be seen how this entire situation will play out but Miami could be playing with fire. Other players watch closely how organizations handle issues with stars and if they aren't careful, this could come back to bite them.
