Hoda Kotb was in full-on mom mode on Halloween night.
On Thursday, October 31, Kotb, 60, posted a sweet a gallery on Instagram of her and her daughters Haley, 7, and Hope, 4 — whom she shares with ex-fiancé Joel Schiffman — celebrating Halloween in the suburbs.
Kotb recently left New York City to move to the suburbs, making this the family's first Halloween in their new hometown.
The morning show mainstay included six photos in her post, showcasing her daughters trick-or-treating with other kids in the neighborhood. It looked like a successful Halloween for the little ones, who snagged enough candy to fill their baskets, as seen in the second snap.
The mom of two kept it cozy and casual with her costume, opting for a pumpkin onesie — a departure from her extravagant costume on Today, where she and co-host Jenna Bush Hager dressed up as Jack and Rose from Titanic. Both Haley and Hope donned adorable cheerleader costumes.
The broadcast journalist made a short caption for her post, simply writing, "Boo!"
Fans took to the comment section to express how much they love seeing glimpses into Kotb's life in the burbs.
"In your suburbia, content, killing it era ❤️," one person commented.
"So fabulous for you and the girls!!!! Here's to your wonderful new journey! You deserve it.," a user penned.
Another individual wrote, "Adorable!! Happy First Halloween in your new home and new neighborhood!!"
"Mom life looks so good on you️," a fan gushed.
In a September episode of Today with Hoda & Jenna, Kotb spoke about her big life transition. "We've had seven great years in the city with kids, and that's amazing, but I also think kids need to have their feet in the grass and in the dirt," she explained.
Also in September, Kotb announced she would be leaving Today, citing wanting to have more time with her kids as one of the reasons for her impending departure.
"Obviously, I had my kiddos late in life, and I was thinking that they deserve a bigger piece of my time pie that I have," the Dateline alum remarked. "I feel like we only have a finite amount of time."
Kotb's last day at Today has yet to be determined, but it will be sometime in the new year.
