Actress Rosie Marcel has shown off her jaw-dropping weight loss in a rare social media post.
Rosie, who played the role of Jac Naylor on the BBC hit drama Holby City, was beaming with smiles as she showed off her massive drop in weight, shedding two stone in the process. It comes after she bid her acting career farewell after announcing her retirement.

But since leaving the acting world behind, Rosie has been keen to focus on herself and her health and in a rare social media post she showed off her fantastic new fitness mindset. Taking to her Instagram account, the star beamed that she has never felt better both in terms of her body and her mind.
Grabbing a snap of herself in the gym in the midst of a heavy weights workout, Rosie gave a cheeky smirk to the camera as she posed in front of a mirror. Captioning the pic, she penned: "Two stone lighter; twice as strong - HRT on board, confidence is high. Repeat - confidence is high."
Rosie has been on a high ever since she announced her retirement from acting last week. In a touching post shared to her social media accounts, she gushed over her career, but told her followers that she needed to take an early leave.
"Well, I guess it's out there now, no longer a secret that I've retired," she wrote as she uploaded the post to her account. "I'm pretty sure I didn't say 'whatever' that much...and I'm surely more erudite than that? Or maybe retirement and the dreaded menopause has well and truly kicked in!
"Either way, I'm happy; truly happy," she added. "It's been a pleasure and a journey. I've given my bit. I'm happy with what I put out in the world."
Looking back fondly on her stint in acting, she thanked everyone for being a part of her life, before admitting: "Ready for the next bit; happy to just be me now." She added that despite her high-profile roles, she had been struggling to get work and had not been offered any new roles since leaving Holby City two years ago.
When asked why she had not been able to land a job since Holby City's ending, she confessed she did not have the answer, but speculated that "people can't see beyond Jac". She also chalked it up to the fact that she is a middle-aged women, which puts her in a precarious position for roles.
In a previous interview, Rosie revealed that she had actually retired back in May of this year, adding that she had gone through so many issues in her life including miscarriages, life-threatening crashes and then some. As a result, she opted to leave the acting world behind and focus on herself after working hard for the past number of years.
