The video has racked up more than 549k views, almost 10,000 likes and many comments from excited shoppers. Among the comments, one person said: "I got mine today!!! They’re amazing and fab price too."

A second wrote: "I got them the other day!! Just waiting on some colouring books for Christmas now," and a third added: "I’ve got these pens and love them!"

A fourth shopper tagged a friend and said: "omg the pens we want" and another wrote: "Got these for my son yesterday, they're amazing."

Others claimed they had struggled to find the markers in store and were quick to ask friends to search their local stores too. One person added: "You have more chance of getting them online as they are sold out In most stores." Another said: "fingers crossed my home bargains have them."
