Jelly Roll's wife Bunnie Xo is quite the skilled podcaster — but her prowess for documenting recently took an unexpected turn.

In an episode of Bunnie's Dumb Blonde podcast that dropped on Monday, October 21, Bunnie — whose legal name is Alyssa DeFord — revealed that she has spoken with convicted murderer Wade Wilson. Bunnie, 44, said she was planning to do a docuseries on Wilson, however; following their conversation, Wilson shared her number without her consent.

"Wade took it upon himself after that first phone call that we had to start giving my phone number out to random women," Bunnie said. "I was getting so frustrated with all the drama." According to Bunnie, Wilson gave her number out to at least five people.

Elsewhere in the episode, Bunnie called Wilson on the phone, telling him "You can stop getting me in trouble online. That would be great."

Wilson was sentenced to death back in August for the 2019 murders of Kristine Melton, 35, and Diane Ruiz, 43. The convicted killer admitted to giving out Bunnie's number during the episode, but said he had stopped doing so.

"I stopped giving out your number," Wade, 30, said. "I only did that to like two people," though Bunnie still insisted it was at least five.

Bunnie first expressed interest in bringing Wilson on her podcast back in June. "I am fascinated with his story," said Bunnie in a since-deleted TikTok. "How cool would it be if I got to go into the jail and do a sit down with him, and do a podcast?"

However, she has since expressed regret for saying this. She says her intent was to show women the red flags and characteristics found in serial killers, but admitted she let down her listeners.

"I feel bad for even having empathy for anybody other than the victims in this," said Bunnie. "I always try to see every side of every story, but I didn't know his entire story, and I just shouldn't have said what I said without knowing so many of the facts."
