Brooke Shields once thought she died and went to heaven, heaven being holding hands with Bradley Cooper. The 59-year-old model and author has a new memoir, "Brooke Shields Is Not Allowed To Get Old," which is released tomorrow, and in the book, she shares a wild story about a time she had a seizure after drinking too much water.

Shields stopped by Live With Kelly and Mark when Mark Consuelos asked her about a specific story in the book when she was rushed to the hospital in an ambulance with Cooper. "I am just like the girl next door. I had a seizure," she said with a smile.

According to Shields, she was preparing to do a one-woman show at the Carlyle. "I was so terrified of losing my voice that I just kept drinking water—copious amounts of water. I depleted myself of all the sodium, and I had a grand mal seizure," she explained, adding, "It was not pretty at all."

"I was on the ground, and his assistant was called because we live near each other. And I woke up, and Bradley Cooper was holding my hand. I literally thought, 'I didn't make it. I had a good run. I had a good run. This is my reward," she quipped.

Being the nice man he is, she said Cooper told her, "I’m going to go to the hospital with you." "And I was like, 'Okay, Bradley Cooper, you do that," Shields laughed.

Kelly Ripa then chimed in, asking if they text each other, "We live, I've known him for years," Shields said. "Can you put Bradley down as my medical emergency contact? Just in case," Ripa quipped, with Consuelos hilariously adding, "Me too."

Shields continued the story saying Cooper "had so much to say" and brought two retired cops. "So basically, they don’t let just people go into ambulances... unless you’re American Sniper, right? And it was like the seas parted."

The actor has been married to Chris Hench since 2001, who eventually met her at the hospital. "They pulled me into this private room, and my husband met me there. My husband was on one side, Bradley Cooper was on the other, and I’m like, 'I’m okay,'" she said with a beaming smile, sharing a thumbs-up to the camera.
