Ivanka Trump is not letting political views — or family — get in the way of what concerts she goes to.
A source told People that Ivanka, 42, took her 13-year-old daughter Arabella and her friends to Taylor Swift's Eras Tour at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami over the weekend — despite her father, Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump, previously claiming he "hates" the singer-songwriter.
In September, Swift, 34, announced via Instagram that she would cast her ballot for Kamala Harris and Tim Walz in the 2024 presidential election. In her post, the pop star mentioned how the 78-year-old's campaign's use of artificial intelligence-generated images of her endorsing the former president in August was part of why she decided to make public who she would be voting for.
"Recently I was made aware that AI of 'me' falsely endorsing Donald Trump's presidential run was posted to his site. It really conjured up my fears around AI, and the dangers of spreading misinformation. It brought me to the conclusion that I need to be very transparent about my actual plans for this election as a voter. The simplest way to combat misinformation is with the truth," the 14-time Grammy winner wrote.
About a week after the "Fortnight" singer endorsed Vice President Harris, Trump took to his social media platform, Truth Social, and wrote, "I HATE TAYLOR SWIFT!"
It's no secret Ivanka's eldest child is a Swiftie. Back in July, the mom of three — Ivanka shares Arballa, Joseph, 11, and Theodore, 8 with her husband, Jared Kushner — posted a carousel on Instagram for Arabella's 13th birthday, which included a Swift-themed dessert. One photo featured the teenager holding a birthday cake that read, "Boys only want love if it's torture," a lyric from the "Maroon" singer's hit song "Blank Space" from her 1989 album.
Swift is currently touring the last leg of the Eras Tour, which concludes on Sunday, December 8, in Vancouver, Canada.
