Are there any free skins in Fortnite? (November 2024)

There are four free skins in Fortnite for players to redeem as rewards. These include the Felina, Katalina, Explorer Emilie, and Trailblazer Tai outfits. A fifth free skin, featuring the likeness of rapper Juice WRLD, will be free for any player who logs in during the specified event window.

Explorer Emilie and Trailblazer Tai both joined with the launch of LEGO Fortnite at the start of Chapter 5.

You can get the Explorer Emilie skin as a reward by signing up for LEGO Insiders and then linking it to your Epic account, which you use for Fortnite. Trailblazer Tai can alternatively be obtained for free just by completing four easy quests in LEGO Fortnite.

Epic has made two more free skins available to celebrate the Battle Royale’s finally returning to iOS devices in the European Union.

You can earn the brand-new Katalina skin and cosmetic bundle as rewards by completing quests on your mobile device. To get the Felina Ranked skin and the Felina’s Claw Pickaxe, you will need to earn 50 Account Levels for the former, and just 25 Account Levels for the latter.

There are a few different methods for getting free skins in Fortnite, but it’ll require you to put in some effort:

  • Completing event-specific challenges will earn you free skins and cosmetics, such as opening a certain amount of presents during Winterfest. The Save the World mode also provides opportunities to earn free rewards, which may include a skin, V-Bucks, or other Fortnite-related items.
• Competing in tournaments
  • Every now and then, Epic Games will host themed tournaments for crossover characters, like Beast Boy or The Flash, alongside ICON Series skins for streamers like Chica, where the highest-ranking players can earn the skin for free before it goes on sale in the shop.

The last option is via codes for free skins. However, it’s incredibly rare to get codes for free skins in Fortnite, and this usually only happens with giveaways on social media. Be wary of searching for free codes online, as there are a lot of potential scams out there.
