CHAPPELL ROAN is in advanced talks to perform at the Brit Awards.
I can reveal the breakout US singer is wanted for the biggest night in British music on March 1, to be held at London’s O2 Arena.
She topped the charts with her album The Rise And Fall of a Midwest Princess and is being courted to belt out a medley of numbers from the smash-hit project.
They include Hot To Go and Pink Pony Club, as well as the follow- up single Good Luck, Babe.
My music insider revealed: “It has been such an amazing year for female musicians and the Brit Awards want to celebrate that.
“Chappell became such a key figure in music in 2024 that organisers have been pushing the boat out to secure a performance.

“So far, it is looking good.
“She is known for putting on incredible performances so having a major American star like her on the stage would be a real coup.
“The hope is that contracts can be signed in the next few weeks.”
It would be the first time that Chappell has been back in the UK since she played her sold-out tour here in September.
And one person who would be especially excited to see her take part would be her mum.
Chappell said last year: “My mum would love to go to the Grammys or the Brits.

“I’m kind of hoping I don’t win, because then everyone will get off my ass, ‘See guys, we did it and we didn’t win, bye!’ I won’t have to do this again!”
Nominations for the Brit Awards are expected to be announced later this month.
And I would be very surprised if Chappell doesn’t get recognised in the International Artist and International Song categories.
The 2025 ceremony will once again be held on a Saturday night and broadcast live on ITV1, although no other details have yet been announced.
But audience tickets are on sale now and I’m sure there will be plenty of major names in the line-up.
With less than two months to go, I will be bringing you all the exclusive announcements in the lead-up to the big night in March.
Sabrina in the pink at party
THE season of Hollywood high glamour is upon us as the Golden Globes kicked off awards frenzy overnight.
Sabrina Carpenter led the celebs at W Magazine’s pre-Globes party at the Chateau Marmont in LA in this gorgeous pink dress.
She joined British stars including supermodel Cara Delevingne and singer Charli XCX, as well as A-List actresses Demi Moore and Nicole Kidman.
Across town at the Parker Hotel, Jennifer Lopez pulled out all the stops in a white gown and faux fur jacket as she partied with Selena Gomez at Variety’s 10 Directors to Watch and Creative Impact Awards brunch.
I just hoped they lined their stomachs ahead of the Globes, which kicked off at 1am today .
The queues for In N Out Burger are long after the do, and no one wants to clap through endless categories with a raging appetite.
Blud's sport
YUNGBLUD’s new record has been three years in the making – and he wants to be fighting fit when it drops.
The punk rocker tells me in an exclusive chat: “I’ve been boxing every f***ing day.
“I’ve been getting fit and trying to get myself straight.
“I’ve quit booze for a bit too.
“It’s a New Year, new Dom.
“A couple more tattoos and I’m rocking.”
YungBlud – real name Dominic Harrison, will release the follow-up to his 2022 self-titled No1 album later this year.
And the record, Dom reckons, is his biggest piece of work to date.
He said: “I can’t wait for my fans to hear it.
“It’s the biggest, most ambitious project yet.
“The first song is nine minutes long.
“It’s mental.”
Dom returns this summer with his second Bludfest, at The National Bowl in Milton Keynes on June 21.
Lola Young, who was at the first one last summer, is currently at No3 in the charts with her track Messy.
Dom says of Lola: “She’s a badass.
“We talk about partnerships with Bludfest.
“We talk about coming together.
“So I had to do it again.”
Jolie's inner search
ANGELINA JOLIE said she found a different part of herself after playing Maria Callas in a new film about the opera singer’s life.
In a Times Radio chat, Angelina said: “What a gift as an artist, to be pushed again at this time in my life.
“To do something that terrified me, and I wasn’t sure I could do, is the greatest gift.”
Bruno on top
BRUNO MARS and Rose may finally see their tune APT hit the No1 spot this week.
The song, out in October, is 50 units away from taking over from Gracie Abrams’ That’s So True, according to Official Charts’ First Look.
Myles Smith is close to getting his second Top Ten single with Nice To Meet You.
He is at No11 and could get there on Friday.
Ed tour adds up to £40m
ED SHEERAN is in the fourth year of his Mathematics tour, which has gone around the globe multiple times and is clearly paying off.
I’ve learned he made £40.4million from the global jaunt in the 12 months up to March 2024, according to figures filed at Companies House.
After costs and bills, he made a net profit of £12.6million through his live music company.
He earned £30.4million from dates in Asia, with £8.5million coming from gigs in the US and Canada, and £1.5million from Europe.
As much as that paycheck will be welcome, I wouldn’t blame Ed for wanting to finally put his feet up.
But given he still has 45 dates left to play across Asia, the Middle East and Europe before the tour ends in Dusseldorf in September, he still has a long slog.
Tim & Kylie a golden couple
TIMOTHEE CHALAMET and Kylie Jenner’s fans feared they had split at the end of last year after she revealed they were spending Christmas apart.
But my insiders said the unlikely couple were stronger than ever, with Kylie invited as Timothee’s date to the Golden Globes overnight.
Reality TV star Kylie had a seat reserved on Timothee’s table at the Beverly Hilton hotel in Los Angeles.
My mole said: “They have a very low-key relationship and are rarely seen together.
“It’s the way they prefer it to be but there was no way Kylie would have missed being with Timothee at the Golden Globes.”
Timothee is up for a Best Actor gong for his role as Bob Dylan in biopic A Complete Unknown.
I’ll be bringing you all the gossip from the ceremony tomorrow.
