Hulk Hogan Horrendously Booed in WWE Return

The debut of Monday Night Raw on Netflix was a massive success, with four awesome matches, plenty of celebrities in the crowd, and multiple pro wrestling legend making their WWE return.

All that being said, one moment truly caught pro wrestling fans by surprise. And it wasn't a good one.

Before the main event, "Real American" hit the speakers and fans rejoiced when Jimmy Hart came out waving an American flag and Hulk Hogan walked to the top of the ramp.

However, the crowd singing along with one of the best themes in wrestling soon changed its tune.

As Hogan proceeded to promote Netflix and his new beer, Real American Beer, the audience quickly turned on the Hulkster.

The more Hogan spoke, the more the crowd booed him, showing that Hulkamania my truly be over after more than 40 years.

This point was made even further when WWE only shared footage of Hulk entering to his music on social media and nothing from the promo he cut.

This may be perplexing for some fans, especially considering that Hulk Hogan is arguably the most popular professional wrestler of all time. But the more stories that come out about Hogan and the more controversy he stirs, the less popular he becomes.

Many fans online point to the fact that Hogan had explicitly endorsed Donald Trump and was seen at multiple rallies for the former and future president and this event was in Los Angeles, a famously liberal city.

However, looking at the rest of the evening, this clearly isn't the case.

Another WWE Legend, the Undertaker, made a surprise appearance to congratulate Rhea Ripley for winning the Women's World Championship and was met with cheers and applause.

Undertaker is another pro wrestler who endorsed President Trump and even had him as a guest on his podcast alongside Glenn Jacobs, aka Kane.

At this point, it's clear that the crowd's issue with Hogan wasn't political. It just seems that decades of goodwill and iconic status have come to an end.
