"I'm just so proud of her," Loretta told the Mirror. "Both her father and I are absolutely incredibly proud of what she’s doing.
"We feel this is only the beginning; once people get to know Grace, she will become an absolute comedy legend," she added. "She’s good at entertaining people of all ages, and it’s really exciting to see her on the screen for the first time - she’ll be her amazing self.”
Loretta believes Grace could go all the way and win the jungle crown, adding: "If she puts her mind to it, Grace can do anything." It comes as Grace is continuing to face her fears after shouting and screaming her way through the first challenge in the show's opening episode on Sunday (November 17).
Having already admitted that she is terrified of bugs, Grace was pushed to her limits as she had creepy-crawlies walking along her arm as she raced to get a key so she could kayak across a river. However, despite her bravery, no keys were left, and she - alongside partner Jane Moore, were forced to swim across the river.
In her second Bushtucker trial, "Vile Volcano", she was forced to take on snakes, rats and lizards galore, but was still able to finish the challenge with nine stars out of ten. Reflecting on her growth in camp, mum Loretta willed Grace on, saying: "I think the more she does, the stronger she’ll get; whatever she needs to do, I know Grace will do it and she’ll give it her all."
During a heartwarming chat in camp on Tuesday's episode (November 19), the content creator revealed that her mum was incredibly supportive when she accepted her relationship to female footballer Ella Rutherford. She confessed that Loretta had known of Ella, but was under the impression that the pair were friends and nothing serious.
"They just love her, they never had an issue with it," Grace beamed. "They’ve always said whoever you end up with we do not care, boy or girl we don’t care, as long as they’re not a d**k."
I'm A Celebrity airs every day at 9pm on ITV1 and ITVX.
