I'm A Celeb's Coleen Rooney's 'huge pay day that will make her richer than husband Wayne'

Coleen Rooney is set to outshine her husband Wayne's impressive £80 million earnings, with a rumoured £1.5 million I'm a Celebrity fee being just the tip of the iceberg.

The savvy businesswoman has reportedly made a smart investment in Liverpool-based sports health firm Applied Nutrition, now worth a whopping £350 million on the Stock Exchange.

At 38, Coleen reportedly snapped up as many shares as possible after becoming an ambassador for the brand and is poised to launch her own line of proteins, collagen, and vitamin supplements with them come January. The range will now be stocked by Holland and Barrett, with more major retailers expected to follow suit.

A source close to Coleen revealed: "With the company now valued at a staggering £350million, Coleen stands to do incredibly well from this investment."

The insider added: "What makes this even more impressive is that Coleen didn't jump in blindly she started out as an ambassador for the brand, did her research and quickly recognised the massive potential for global growth.

"Coleen saw this as not just an endorsement opportunity but as a solid, worthwhile investment that will benefit her entire family. She was literally the first person to invest."

Tonight's episode will see Coleen Rooney and her celebrity comrades kick off the much-anticipated ITV series. Her stint on the show is set to turbocharge the January launch of her new product line, reports the Mirror.

An insider revealed: "She did a whole load of work in preparation for this. She's recorded a TV advert around her Applied Nutrition range and this will hit TV screens shortly after her stint in the jungle."

Wayne Rooney, 39, is reportedly thrilled with his wife's business acumen. At the height of his career, he raked in about £15 million annually playing for Manchester United, and now it's believed he makes close to £500,000 a year as manager of Plymouth Argyle.

However, Coleen has outpaced him with a series of shrewd agreements, bagging £2million from the Disney documentary 'Coleen Rooney: The Real Wagatha Story', and £3million from a George at Asda campaign.

Yet, it's her venture with Applied Nutrition that could be her most profitable endeavour to date. The source added: "It is going to be massive for her. Coleen was definitely in the right place at the right time when it came to this money-spinning partnership, which is worth millions."
