I'm A Celeb star exposes 'graphic' truth of 'gross' jungle toilet cleaning chore

3 days ago 4

One contestant has dished the dirt on the grim reality of I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!

Sam Thompson has admitted it's not for the faint-hearted. Spilling the beans on the latest episode of I'm A Celebrity... Unpacked, he joined forces with funnyman Joel Dommett and radio presenter Kemi Rogers to reveal what camp life is really like.

The trio tackled all topics, from tear-jerking tales like Barry McGuigan's heartfelt account of his daughter Danika's tragic death from bowel cancer, to the less glamorous aspects of jungle sanitation. Keen to dig deep, Kemi Rogers probed: "How gross is the dunny really, without grossing us out and everyone who's watching - talk us through it."

Joel, who was a whisker away from winning in 2016, admitted: "It's quite gross, it really is," which led to Sam's candid confession: "You get used to it but the first time, he is right, people freeze up for the first few days but then when it all lets loose it gets real heavy real fast! " Joel chimed in with a chuckle: "You don't want to be emptying the dunny on day four."

Sam, now 32, went into more stomach-churning detail: "Well, you have 12 campmates in there at one point and you have to unscrew the lid so you have to look, I'm sorry this is a bit graphic, but you have to look Kemi at everything in there, and you wouldn't believe the waste that come out," reports the Mirror.

Kemi was curious about how much waste accumulates daily, and Sam confirmed it almost overflows. Joe, 39, humorously shared his jungle dunny tales: "You've got to take a peep, because you're like 'I think that's Carol Vorderman's'".

Sam added: "The wild thing is you know who went last as well because they'll come back from the dunny."
