Tulisa Contostavlos's ex-boyfriend and fellow N-Dubz member, Fazer, has spoken out about her sexuality over a decade after their split.
The 36-year-old I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! star has sparked interest during her time on the ITV show by openly revealing she is demisexual - which left many wondering what demisexual means.
Tulisa, known for her hit solo single Young, dated bandmate Fazer - real name Richard Rawson, 37 - from mid-2010 until February 2012. While in the jungle, Tulisa has been candid about her sexuality, sharing that she has remained celibate for three years, discussing her demisexual preferences with her campmates.

However, Fazer claims this 'revelation' was no surprise as he was already aware of this aspect of his ex-partner. Fazer, who forms N-Dubz with Tulisa and her cousin Dappy (real name Costadinos Contostavlos, 37), says Tulisa has always prioritised emotional connection over physical attraction and prefers long-term relationships.
Speaking to The Sun, he said: "She has always been like that. She's always been like a hermit crab that goes inside its shell, you go too close to it, it goes back inside its shell. Her whole life, any sort of relationship that she's been in has always been long-term for that person, it's never been short-term."
He stated: "What she's saying is absolutely true - that's just how she feels. It's like she wants to meet people, but there's something inside her that doesn't let her meet people."
In a bit of advice for a potential new partner, Fazer added: "To any of her future partners: make sure you just take it slow and make sure you've got an emotional connection first."
On Wednesday, viewers of I'm A Celebrity saw Tulisa candidly discuss her sexuality with her fellow campmates. She confided in radio presenter Dean McCullough and soap actor Alan Halsall, admitting she feels "like I'm demisexual", adding: "I need to have a really close emotional bond with someone."
Back in March 2012, Tulisa was left distraught when an intimate tape involving her and ex-boyfriend Justin Edwards was leaked online, reports the Mirror.
She successfully obtained a legal injunction to halt the distribution of the tape, but confessed the betrayal had left her deeply traumatised. In conversation with former Love Island contestant Olivia Attwood on her So Wrong It's Right podcast, the singer recalled the nightmare she endured due to the leak.

Tulisa described: "Honestly, there's no words to describe. It felt like virtual rape, that's the only way I can describe the emotion. It was just horrific. I felt so, just, judged and I felt disgusting, I felt ashamed.
"It just felt horrible, there's no words to describe. It's taken me many, many years to come to terms with it. Now, for me, all pain is growth, so every single part of my experiences I was meant to feel and I wouldn't be the person I am today without them."
The singer elaborated that she harbours "no regret" about her past, acknowledging that it was "her path," and firmly stated that she was "meant to live it".
