I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! is now on our screens, and in last night's episode (November 18), former Strictly Come Dancing professional Oti Mabuse asked Tulisa from N-Dubz what it stood for.

If you grew up in the noughties, N-Dubz probably hold a special place in your heart. From I Need You to Number One, the group released some proper bangers, and their hits take you on a good trip down memory lane. The trio, from Camden Town, consist of cousins Dappy and Tulisa and Fazer.

After being asked by campmate Oti, Tulisa revealed N-Dubz stands for North West London, where the group members come from. The shocked dancer then joked: "I'm N-Dubz!"

And it turns out Oti wasn't the only one who had no idea - now a host of I'm A Celeb fans have admitted they only just realised. "I was also today years old when I found out that N-Dubz stands for NW London," said one person. "Anyone else who had no idea NDubz stood for North west London," said another. A third commented: "N-Dubz meaning NW was brand new information to me! Every day really is a school day."

Tulisa also shared that she wanted to have a solo career, but her Uncle B, Dappy's dad, said they should be in a group. "My uncle offered me 20 quid and then I bartered him up to 50," she explained.

After bagging a MOBO Award for Best Newcomer in 2007, N-Dubz briefly signed with Polydor Records before joining All Around the World. The following year their debut album, Uncle B, was certified double platinum and birthed four Top 40 singles.

In 2009, N-Dubz went onto win Best UK Act at the MOBO Awards and released their second album, Against All Odds. It rapidly rose to number six in the charts and was certified platinum.

Around the same time they also bagged their first top 10 single with "I Need You". They went onto release a third album before taking a 11-year hiatus to pursue solo careers.

Then, in May 2022, they returned with a comeback single, and a sold-out UK arena tour. But, even though their music has been in and out of our lives for years, it turns out people are still learning more about the band - including the meaning behind the name.
