Former I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! champion Sam Thompson took a brutal dig at contestant GK Barry on the spin-off show last night. Just one day into the new series, hosted by Ant McPartlin and Dec Donnelly, fans are forecasting an early departure for GK Barry following her tearful reaction to a challenge.
However, things could worsen as she is now set to face the first solo trial. Despite maintaining a brave front when Ant and Dec announced she would be tackling the challenge, she was seen tearfully querying her new friends about what she would encounter.
Jane comforted her as GK, whose real name is Grace, began crying out of fear. The debut episode saw the ten celebrities compete to become camp leaders, from leaping out of helicopters to fishing for keys in cockroach-ridden holes, with Corrie's Alan Halsall and singer Tulisa clinching the title.
This year's spin-off show is hosted by Comedian Joel Dommett and last year's victor Sam Thompson. As per tradition, they share tantalising gossip, behind-the-scenes footage and exclusive interviews.

And last night, Sam had some stern words for campmate GK Barry. When asked by Joel how he thinks GK Barry will fare, Sam Thompson responded with a ruthless one-word answer: "Terribly", and he elaborated: "it's better TV so lets hope she gets minimal stars."
Fans online are expressing sharply contrasting views on how GK Barry will fare in the show. A viewer noted with skepticism on social media: "GK Barry won't survive 48 hours the rate she's going."
Another shared this sentiment, saying: "Either GK Barry Or Colleen will walk out week one trust me," while another remarked: "GK Barry isn't gonna last two days."
However, some have expressed more optimistic predictions, as someone countered by saying: "One episode in and GK Barry is already my winner." Echoing the positive sentiments, another fan stated: "GK Barry is tooo funny," and a third enthusiast shared: "GK Barry is my favourite already! Hilarious."
