The West End’s newest show The Devil Wears Prada has brought the stars out in force, with Fashion Designer, Donatella Versace surprising fans with a new look on opening night.
The show, which is on at London’s Dominion Theatre, saw a lavish opening with famous faces like Anna Wintour, Donatella Versace, and Luke Evans making an appearance.
The Fashion Designer, 69, stunned at the awards show in a short brown sequined sheer dress with a black corset that was visible from underneath the look.
The designer paired the look with a pair of brown leather knee-high boots with her blonde hair worn in soft waves.
The 69-year-old was dressed impeccably but it was her facial change that caught fans’ attention.
The star looked dewy with a muted makeup look, and many rushed to compliment her look – highlighting how different she looked from previous years.
Fans immediately took to social media to compliment her ‘upgrade’ and discuss how fantastic she looked.
‘The biggest upgrade in history,’ said StanRoomX on X. ‘This is shocking not gonna lie,’ said Virgosgrooviest.
‘WAIT THEE DONATELLA?! She looks good as hell!!!’ commented Numba1Librarian
‘Nice, she always brings the heat to the red carpet,’ said Blesskatty.
There was some speculation that the A-lister had had some cosmetic surgery, with others arguing that she had just had a change of makeup artist.
The event was at the launch of the musical theatre production based on the 2006 film, starring Meryl Streep, Anne Hathaway, Stanley Tucci, and Emily Blunt.
Composer Elton John did not attend the premiere but joined his husband and the show’s producer David Furnish for the charity event.
Taking to the stage to share his thanks to everyone involved with the production after the performance, Elton told the audience that he had now ‘lost his eyesight’ – but reassured everyone that he had still enjoyed the performance.
‘As some of you may know I have had issues and now I have lost my sight. I haven’t been able to see the performance, but I have enjoyed it,’ he reportedly told the crowd.
The Devil Wears Prada, The Musical is on in London’s Dominion Theatre and tickets are available until October 2025.
