Actress Marissa Bode has revealed one beloved detail from The Wizard of Oz you won't be seeing in the highly-anticipated movie, Wicked.
One of the most memorable parts of 1939 film The Wizard of Oz is the iconic pair of magical ruby red slippers Judy Garland wears and clicks together three times to take her back home to Kansas.
The glitzy red shoes are worn in the long-running musical Wicked by The Wicked Witch of the West's sister Nessarose, played by Bode in the upcoming movie adaptation.
Speaking to 9honey Celebrity on the red carpet at the Wicked premiere in Sydney, Bode reveals her character's shoes look different in the new film.

"Well, in this version they are jewelled shoes," she says.
Bode praised costume designer Paul Tazewell for the change, gushing "I love his mind".
"He is so thoughtful in everything he does. My mind was blown seeing those for the first time and to have the privilege of me wearing them, incredible."
She also spoke to 9honey Celebrity about how important it is to be making history as the first actress playing Nessarose who uses a wheelchair in real life.
Bode says it is "incredibly important for other people to see themselves" represented on screen, explaining she "didn't have that growing up".
The actress adds: "On top of that, being in such a major film that is Wicked, for this to be that, so incredibly important."
