Fair City star Maclean Burke is in the midst of a hectic Christmas.
The actor is now on stage in Dublin's 3Olympia Theatre for the Freezin' panto after filming the festive special of the RTÉ soap opera.
For him, family is priority and he has ditched the beer and wine amid a busy work schedule for him. And he likes to chill and spend time with his fiancé Cat.

Maclean told RSVP Live: "Christmas is mental because we are only off on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. This time of year is really about not overdoing it and spending time with my kids.
"There won’t be any beer, I won’t even have a glass of wine.
"I suffer particularly badly with dehydration and I have to drink three litres of water per show, never mind what I have before, between and after shows."
He added: "I like to switch off and spend quality time with Cat and the kids. My body also needs time to recover."
Maclean and his family kick start their festive plans on Christmas Eve at home.
He said: "We all get into our pyjamas on Christmas Eve and sit back and watch a movie that you have probably seen 20 times before.
"It is lovely having everyone around the dinner table for just one day and creating that vibe. It is important to take that time out to be with each other because these days everyone is always on the go."
What are his favourite Christmas songs and movies? "I love Elf and I sang a Cliff Richard song with my daughter Beau on Donncha O’Callaghan’s Two Talented on RTÉ2 a few years ago."
Maclean gets to celebrate Christmas twice every year, once on screen and once in real life.
He said: "Christmas is always really special to film and it is always really exciting as an hour long special."
