Away from the jungle Down Under, Reverend Richard Coles lives in a countryside cottage, which he moved to following the loss of his beloved husband.

During his time on I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! Richard has captured the nation's affections, impressing viewers by forming surprising friendships with fellow campers GK Barry and Maura Higgins to braving stomach-turning eating tasks. He's endeared himself so much on the popular ITV show that his fellow campmates crowned him as Camp Leader, with fans even predicting he could be the next King of the Jungle. Beyond the jungle antics, the 62 year old enjoys a tranquil lifestyle in his charming countryside cottage. In 2022, Richard sought a new beginning in beautiful East Sussex with his cute dachshunds after the death of his cherished husband David, three years earlier.

Speaking to The Times, Richard offered a peek into his domestic bliss: "I've had it done up since I moved in. It's now got its own dressing room and bathroom. These days I quite like having a little nap there in the afternoon, with the dogs beside me, listening to music. That's how exciting my life is." His dwelling is as delightful as you'd expect, replete with log burners, bay windows, a piano, and an exquisite garden, mirroring the Reverend's amiable character and wit. The Reverend has found solace in the countryside of East Sussex, where he is accompanied by his two adorable dachshunds, who often find the perfect spot for a nap on the Reverend himself. His cottage features beautiful bay windows that offer stunning views of the surrounding countryside from his rustic rocking chair. On chillier days, he can keep warm with his cosy log burner.

If he feels musically inspired, there's a grand piano at the heart of his home, which also serves as another snooze spot for his dogs. A large woven rug under the piano ties the room together. In his kitchen, tulips adorn the grand wooden table, while books and exposed brick walls decorate the sides. When not napping on Richard, his dachshunds can be found lounging on his beige sofa adorned with plush cushions.

His home also showcases vintage furniture, wooden floors, and tall lamps - something his dog seems to find intriguing. Outside, Richard enjoys a peaceful garden with steps lined with plant pots and a greenhouse tucked away in the corner - a sanctuary where he can savour a summer cocktail or two!
