Inside Molly-Mae's sister Zoe's very different life from army job to stunning wedding

Molly-Mae Hague often says she would be nowhere without her family and in particular, her older sister Zoe Hague.

While the former Love Island star, 25, has always said that she's been destined for fame, her older sister Zoe, 27, took a very different path in life before ultimately following in Molly's footsteps and starting a YouTube channel, which has completely blown up over the past year.

Zoe, who recently got married to her long-term love Danny Rae, has also been there for Molly-Mae through her shock split with ex-fiancé Tommy Fury. The seemingly perfect couple shocked the nation back in July when they announced that they had ended their five-year relationship, just 18-months after welcoming their daughter Bambi, and one year after professional boxer popped the question and asked blonde beauty Molly to be his wife.

On her YouTube channel following the split, Molly-Mae insisted that she wouldn't have been able to get through the heartbreak and pain without Zoe, who was there for her 'every step of the way'. Here, we take a look inside Zoe's life ahead of Molly-Mae's long-awaited Amazon Prime documentary, titled Behind It All, which delves into her split with Tommy and the fallout afterwards.

Huge career change

Zoe has recently started to build a career online after leaving the Army Medical Corp in 2023. The former army girl has amassed 112,000 followers on YouTube since deciding to pack in her former job, and has landed a number of huge brand deals while following in her younger sister's showbiz footsteps.

The two sisters often joke that they are complete opposites, and in terms of their career choices, they couldn't be anymore different. While Molly-Mae kicked off her social media platform at the tender age of 16, gaining thousands of followers on Instagram by sharing fashion content and sharing hauls on YouTube, her sister Zoe was busy getting hands on in the army.

Zoe is also an avid exercise lover - often running marathons, competing in Hyrox competitions, triathlons, and much more. Meanwhile, Molly-Mae has regularly joked that she would rather 'poke her eyes out' than exercise - but does so to keep her incredible figure and for the benefit of her mental health.

Earlier this year, Zoe gushed that all her dreams had come true when she became the cover girl for Women's Fitness magazine after packing in her career in the army and going out on a limb to see if she could be successful in social media and brand deals - a risk that has very evidently paid off.

Dream wedding

Back in July, just mere weeks before Molly-Mae and Tommy called time on their relationship, Zoe tied the knot with her long-term love Danny in a stunning wedding. The pair, who met while in the army, said their 'I do's at a lavish Lake District wedding venue - a place which they hold dear in their hearts after hiking there for years on end.

Zoe looked out of this world in a stunning off-the-shoulder dress and fans gushed at the time that they had never seen a more beautiful bride in their lives. Among those sharing congratulatory messages in the comments section was Molly-Mae's Love Island pal Maura Higgins, who wrote: "Massive congratulations you too. So so beautiful." YouTuber Sydney May Crouch also penned: "Omg better than I EVER imagined. Biggest congratulations to you Mr & Mrs!!!!!!!!!"

And sister Molly-Mae couldn't help but gush over the day again, writing: "The most perfect day." Molly-Mae also shared photos from the occasion on Instagram after her sister's bog day. At the time, she wrote: "Watching you marry the love of your life is a memory I'll cherish forever."

Her post included a photo of the siblings stood together in the dining room of the venue, with them looking at each other whilst Molly-Mae raised a bouquet in the air. A black and white photo showed her and Bambi walking down the aisle, with the mother and daughter seen posing together in an outdoor area in another.

Molly-Mae's rock

Molly-Mae has often described Zoe as her 'rock' - especially in recent months following her split from Tommy. After the birth of her daughter Bambi, Molly-Mae admitted that Zoe was her main support system and helped her during the first few weeks of the newborn's life after professional boxer Tommy was torn away from his family due to work commitments.

Influencer Molly insisted that she wouldn't have been able to have got through the 'dark days' without Zoe, who was always there to lend a helping hand and supportive energy. And after her break-up with Tommy, it was Zoe who was there for her again, as Molly-Mae shared in a YouTube vlog that her older sister had dropped everything to be with her as the pair enjoyed sleepovers, takeaway nights, and 'cathartic cries' together.

Before Molly-Mae even announced her split with Tommy, fans were left convinced that Zoe had hinted at her split days before the news hit. Vlogger Zoe told her followers at the time that she had a “really, really rubbish day” regarding something that “didn’t involve” herself and her husband, Danny.

The video led fans to believe it may have been the day she discovered that Molly-Mae had split from Tommy, which she revealed to the world back in July. Underneath Zoe’s clip, one person wrote: “Anyone else watching today and wondering if the track day was ‘the day’ Molly and Tommy called it quits.”

During the YouTube video in question, Zoe said: “I’m not going to lie to you I’ve had a really really rubbishy day. I won’t go into it too much but just a really rubbishy day, it is now 5.55pm and I have had to drag my ass out well with the help of Danny.”

Confirming her emotion was due to something that didn’t directly affect her, she said, “I was really sad before, but it had nothing to do with me and Danny. It was just other things, just life.”
