Campbell "Pookie" Puckett, a TikTok star who achieved viral fame by sharing her husband's reactions to her outfits, had to have surgery on "pre-cancer," her husband Jett Puckett revealed in a TikTok on Wednesday, January 8. Jett, 33, captioned the post, "Wishing you and your loved ones a healthy 2025đđ»đ€ #love #couple #pookie."
"Pookie had to have surgery to remove some pre-cancer," he explained in the video, during which he sat in his car and addressed the camera directly. "We found out about this a while back," he continued, adding, "It's been very scary, especially for me."
The couple, who married in 2018, welcomed their first child, Paloma, in November, so this scare comes at what must be an emotional time.
In the video, Jett shared the intensity of his fear, while praising his wife's strength and resilience. "I am so madly in love with Campbell that the thought of anything at all being wrong with her is, frankly, more than I can bear," he said. "Campbell, on the other hand, has been incredibly strong, incredibly brave about this. She just always has this tremendously strong faith that everything is going to work out. I really love and cherish that about her."
Jett told followers that the "surgery went well," and that Campbell's doctor "is cautiously optimistic that we'll be good to go now." In celebration, Jett picked up Pookie's favorite foods from Chick-fil-a as well as a bouquet of flowers â "four dozen white roses," in fact â for his wife.
He delivered the gifts to Campbell, who quickly became emotional upon seeing the gesture. "I really didn't want to cry, you're just the best," she said to her husband.
Followers of the viral couple were quick to comment their well-wishes and support on Instagram. "Oh you two are amazing đ praying full healing and health for pookie!!" wrote one fan. Another expressed surprise at how invested they'd become in the couple, adding, "Every time I'm reminded how I thought this account was bananas and now I'm crying with pookie. Life is cray. Rest up and get better pookie! We â€ïž you!"
