Apple is working on upgrades for the iOS 18 operating system. While the iOS 18.3 was more of a bug-removing upgrade, the Cupertino giant is all set to drop the iOS 18.4 update with new features. There are chances that Siri could get some considerable upgrades with on-screen context awareness.
A report published by MacRumour suggested that Apple will release additional AI features along with language support in early April. The update will also bring support for multiple languages including English (India, Singapore), Portuguese, Korean, Japanese, Italian, German, French, and Spanish.
Features that we can get to see in iOS 18.4
With iOS 18.4, users will get to see priority notifications. This feature will show the most important notifications at first and then the least important ones. However, the feature will be disabled by default and the users will be supposed to activate it manually. Apart from that, we will also get to see the Ambient Music option added to the control center. Here the users will have the ability to choose from four categories.
In addition, people will also get to see Genmoji by Apple Intelligence where they will be able to create new emojis to match the vibe of a particular moment. And yes, after a long wait, users can finally get to see the Visual Intelligence feature that will let them learn about the objects on the screen instantly.
That’s not it, as at the time of launch, we can expect more features and bug fixes with the iOS 18.4 update. It will be available for the whole iPhone 16 series along with iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max. In the future, we will also get to see new updates and features for iOS 18 along with improvements for Siri.
