Is Brad Pitt proposing to Ines de Ramon now that his divorce from Angelina Jolie is settled?

2025 marks a new beginning for Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, as their long-standing divorce has finally settled. It's been 8 years of headlines since their 2016 split, with the Curious Case of Benjamin Button star finding love with Ines de Ramon in 2022.

Pitt and de Ramon have been going strong, celebrating special milestones such as Thanksgiving and each other's birthdays. With news of the divorce settlement, a report by the Daily Mail began circulating, claiming that Pitt and de Ramon were ready to get married in 2025. 

The report said  the Ocean's Eleven star was motivated to finalize the divorce to "keep his children on side for his new marriage to go ahead." It also noted that de Ramon had allegedly been "pressuring" him to settle matters quickly, as she is "keen to have children too."

De Ramon reportedly lives with Pitt and frequently travels alongside him as he completes filming for his upcoming project, F1.

While the couple may share a toast that the divorce is finally over, TMZ shut down the engagement and wedding idea. According to their insider, speculation about the 61-year-old actor proposing is false, and Pitt has “no imminent engagement plans.” The source emphasized that Pitt is still very happy in his relationship with the 34-year-old jewelry designer. 

How it came to an end

TMZ reported that Angelina signed off on their divorce on Christmas Day and filed the paperwork on Monday, December 30, agreeing to forgo spousal and family support. The outlet noted that settlement documents do not include plans for their 16-year-old twins, Knox and Vivienne. Meanwhile, their older children—Maddox 23, Pax 20, Zahara,19, and Shiloh, 18,—are now all legally adults.

Despite the divorce resolution, the former couple still faces unresolved disputes over the $164 million French estate and winery Château Miraval, a long-standing source of legal and personal contention. The winery, once a symbol of their partnership, has been at the center of lawsuits and headlines.
